upEND is excited to endorse Socialism 2024 and host a session on family policing abolition.

The last year has changed us all.

As global crises deepen, social movements the world over are striving toward new visions and experimenting with new strategies. From Palestine to the US and beyond, radical politics have re-emerged as necessary for both survival and full liberation. At this critical juncture, the Socialism Conference will be a vital gathering space for today’s left.

A four-day conference featuring dozens of participatory discussions, lectures, and workshops organized by groups from all over the country, the Socialism Conference will facilitate exchanges between existing activists and organizations, while also welcoming new layers of politically curious people as part of building our radical traditions and movements. Join us August 30-September 2, in Chicago, for Socialism 2024!

Featured speakers at Socialism 2024 will include: Arundhati Roy, Ruth Wilson Gilmore, Noura Erakat, Robin D.G. Kelley, Ilan Pappé, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, Nick Estes, Vincent Bevins, Derecka Purnell, Hanif Abdurraqib, Alexis Pauline Gumbs, Jules Gill-Peterson, Harsha Walia, Rachel Herzing, Justin Piché, Sarah Jaffe, Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, Daniel Denvir, Silky Shah, Nyle Fort, Dave Zirin, Ashley Dawson, Rob Larson, and many more.

The Socialism Conference is brought to you by Haymarket Books and dozens of endorsing left-wing organizations and publications, including upEND Movement. Visit socialismconference.org to learn more and register today.
