Module Five reviews the harms that result to Black children, families, and communities from forcible family separations and placement in foster care. As these resources demonstrate, these harms are vast and immense, significantly impacting children and families across generations. These well-documented outcomes provide evidence of the true intents of the family policing system – the subjugation of Black Americans and the maintenance of White supremacy.
